Vera French New Outreach Center opened its doors November 26, 2012

The Frontier Community Outreach Program is a safe and supportive place for the most vulnerable  chronically mentally ill people to seek refuge. The Frontier and its staff teach and assist clients in the area of coping skills, socialization, medication management, community integration, money management and provide nutritional meals. The Frontier needs your assistance as we have just moved to a new location on East 32nd Street.  This new location is handicap accessible, has individual and group meeting room locations and is on a bus line for easier access.  This location will allow the Frontier to support more persons in the community which in turn can assist in reducing incarcerations, hospitalizations, homelessness and illicit drug and alcohol use.

An Open House will be held 5.22.13 9-11 a.m.  Please be sure to attend so you can witness your generous donations in action!  Check back here regularly for the date!

Thanks to our sponsor, John Deere, 100% of every Birdies for Charity dollar collected goes to charity!

2012 John Deere Classic birdies generated $6.79 million for participating non-proift organizations.

Help support Vera French Foundation by making your pledge for the Birdies for Charity 2013 event.   More information about this wonderful local event may be found on the John Deere Classic 2013 Website
